Mis-en-scene

Forrest: The forest is where most of the scene is filming, with different part across the Belmont Downs being filmed, the locations include a public footpath, the edge of the forest next to the road and the middle of the forest where it’s all over gown and no path run through. Being in black and white the forest will come out on black and white very dark meaning the natural light from above is crucial in filming as their will be no other light on set. The forest in black and white works well with the music video as this give the impression of a dark location suiting the dark premises of the film. The forest is a further good location of filming through it not being busy and not many people will in it, only the public footpath will have people rarely walk by; this means the filming can give the impression of isolation and escape from the true meaning on life.

Dining Room: The dining room will be used at the very start of the music video for the newspaper scene, located in my house; the dining room features a large wooden table that under black and white will come up very dark looking. The fake newspapers will be spared across the table meaning you cannot see much of the table, however its size means you can get many headlines and have a long tracking shot running down slowly showing he headlines of the papers, giving the audience details on what is happening in the world. The dining room will also be used to show the newspapers drop and character running out the room, the camera will be focused on the papers, but the dining room will be seen and under black and white will look dark through the wallpapers being a dark colour.

Front Door: The front door is only seen very quick in tow takes the first being when the character leaves and the second when the character enters the house when the scenes rewinds at the end to the before scenes when the music video started. The front door is a dark red with two glass panes, the shows the door in black and white as cark colours that go with the music videos whole setting and nature of a dark film, the door leads out into the street but using quick editing I will make the exit of my front door at my mums to look like it leads out to the front of my mums.

Street: The Street is hardly shown in the scene as the camera is zoomed on the newspapers the main character is holding, however it the scenes will see the camera follow the character in a tracking shot but just hooked on the newspapers and how arms of the character clutching the newspapers step.
