Costume

The main character will be in dark clothes to suit the dark nature of the film; this will include a leather jacket, dark greyish trouser and brown shoes. The clothing will be very plain so the audience can concentrate on his feeling and an emotion instead of what he is wherein. The clothing wouldn’t be light colours through it being a dark narrative and the music video is in black and white meaning the audience would not see the light colours. During the suicide scene the character will take of his leather jacket to feel more comfortable, underneath the leather jacket the main character will have on a white T-shirt, this suits the black and white nature of the film, and with the scene being in black and white meaning the forest setting surrounding will be very dark so the white is needed to make the main character clear from the everything else. The blood will be difficult to work with through it can stain clothes meaning I will have to buy 2 possibly three t shirts as I need the stains on the t shirt to not change dramatically through shots otherwise the scene will not look as serious as it needs to make out. This is a continuity problem that although will be difficult to work with, with care and precaution can work on filming.

Continuity is important in my media blog meaning I will have to wear the same clothes on each day of filming as the events in the film only happen over one small part of a day. I will also film the suicide scene last through hat scene will involve fake blood which will surly go everywhere meaning it will surly stain the clothes. I cannot film the scenes in order otherwise there’s a huge risk of the blood getting on clothes and then it stay on the clothes for the scenes that were meant to happen before the suicide scene.

I also don’t want to give any impression of a religious group due to that would imply their religion is wrong for example burkas and Christian crosses cannot be used on the main character or his wife. The wife will also have dark clothes on, although she has short screen time and you won’t be able to see much of her clothes, the wife of the main character will still have dark clothing to suit the dark nature of the music video.
