Continuity

In all filming whether that’s music videos, TV or film audiences can spot a continuity error in filming, from a character having a sudden change in appearance or the clock time changing by an hour in a matter of seconds. Although not this biggest factor of all filming, small changes in elements of what the character wears during the filming can ruin the whole thing. I have made sure that certain factors have been checked and made sure not to be changes, especially with the huge gap between filming due to rain.

Clothing: As I am the main character it is easy to remember what I’m wearing. Added to the fact I took a photo of what I am wearing, it’ll be easy to remember to wear the same clothes on the day of filming. Leather Jacket, Grey Shirt, Brown Shoes and Grey Fitting Trousers are the all the things I wore.

Surroundings: The scenes inside did not raise huge concern over continuity as It was all filmed on the same day. Small factors such as making sure the papers fell in the same order as hitting the ground and in the same order in a pile were all important factors in making sure the scenes looked realistic. The forest scenes are harder in making sure they stay the same. Due being so big and not under my control., However nothing much would of really changed during filming, hopefully no storm has destroyed thousands of trees.

Hairstyle: My hairstyle does not change rapidly in real life, and with the filming being based around close up of the face, my hair will not cause the biggest of problem. Although I will make it the same as last time; using the photo of myself taken on the day of filming. The audience will find it difficult in seeing a change if there is in my hair.

Lighting: On the first day of filming, the lighting was very bright through the sun being out without much cloud coverage, but in the forest itself it was far darker through the leaves and branches covering the sky. Meaning for the other filming day; a sunny or overcast day should not make much difference to lighting in the forest as the lighting already goes down in the forest with the sun.
