"Blood"

The fake blood used for the supposed dead partner, was actually nail varnish, although its not blood red in the coloured shots, its not a worry through under black and white the “blood” looks far more convincing. The actress applied it herself through it being easier… and being a girl who knows how to use the stuff. The use of it is very quick on screen and only has to symbolize the gore, the more you look at the shot on its own, the less convincing it looks, however in quick shots the blood is far more convincing.
