The First Cover I did took an hour to make through having to rub out many lines and add new ones to make the names of the artist and song underlined making it more clearly to the audience who it is. This cover compared to the original has had all the lines and the folds of the paper removed to give make the words more clear and making sure the box that I took the photo on isn’t seen through. The words “belief”, “False” and “Shock” are all still in black and white to give the impression that it is newspaper headlines, the words used can draw attention through deriving negative meaning. The names of the album and the artists are done in red to further link in with the music video through the colour can symbolize blood and violence which is in the music video. Frank Oceans name is slanted compared to the name of the song and the artists as he features in the song and isn’t recognised by the artist as a main artist. The red and black are very good for this album cover as the photo originally made it difficult to identify exactly what the title is and who the artists are. My one problem with the Digipack is in feel it’s quite plain and doesn’t have anything really special that would make audiences remember. This is very important as a digipack cover is key for promotional reasons and people need to remember it and not just go over it through websites such as iTunes having so many songs.
