CD Cover Option 2

This second CD cover I’ve done is one of my favourites through it being clear and well edited with the red added. Plus the paper used is still visible giving the album more realism and not just text spawned across a white background like the last one. The lay out is very similar to the other digipacks I have designed with the song title and main artists (Jay Z and Kanye West) straight whilst Frank Ocean is slanted and at the bottom through only featuring in the song. I darkened the corner of the cover so the focus is more on the

middle, plus the parental advisory logo is more clear than before through not being on top of layers of black and white which is difficult in itself through the parental advisory logo being in black and white too. Furthermore, the audience can see the words “False” “Belief” around the main text, giving reference to the music videos religious theme and the songs religious theme too. The red is used on the text to make it clear what the audience should be focused on, plus it connotes to the darkness of the music video and song. Making the letters red and still look realistic was very difficult through I had to dins the correct shade of red that would look as if I had taken the photo with the font red in the first place (I couldn’t print it red through I did not have access to a coloured computer.).
