The fourth cover is the “Tarantino” version through looking very violent and sinister which suits his directing style. However saying this doesn’t mean it’s my favourite. I feel the audience won’t be looking at the song title and artist which is the key thing in the promotional media text. Having more red than on Tim Roth in Reservoir Dogs makes it very difficult for the audience to look directly at the titles, meaning compared to other covers I probably won’t choose it. However this cover does carry some unique traits which I like about it. The smeared blood in the top left corner does look realistic and can be inferred by audiences; however this also leads to its downfall through the audience might focus on this more than the titles. I believe this cover would suit a horror film more and I personally connote it to the red weeds that cover the earth in War of the Worlds by the Martians, which was dark and sinister.
