The original photo for the digipack was created using all the fake newspapers cut outs from the music video and prints out of the titles of the artist and song. This was placed into a collage to give audiences not only the name of the song but to also see some headlines and words which would catch people’s eye and give reference to the music video which hopefully after seeing the cover they will look at the song.

I took the photos in my room; I didn’t use the natural light coming from my windows but instead used the lights on my wall to avoid shadows on the cover. You can see in the picture I close my blinds to avoid shadows. I placed and laid out the strips of paper on my red box as it was a large, flat and solid surface which gave me room to play around with the strips to find the best set up for the strips. It tool roughly 15 minutes to lay out everything correctly without having the titles covered over anything else or having another strip of paper giving more attention compared to the main titles. To make sure the name of the song and the artists was the noticeable thing, I placed them in the middle of my shot meaning the titles would be seen straightaway by the audience. The photos came from my camera using a square shot meaning the pictures where not a conventional rectangular shape but instead the same dimension to a music video, enabling me to line up what I wanted in the shot using my camera and not having to rely on cropping the picture later in editing.
