Magazine Advertisement Option 6

Option 6 for my magazine advert for my digipack is aimed to show the key information more than the digipack. To make this advert I used the Pixlr program which I’ve used for all the other covers, using the rubbing out tool on a low setting to fade the bottom parts of the album cover. I then split the cover up and placed the titles of the song, release date and availability. By doing this the readers are able to see the key information first before looking at the album cover.

However the one problem with this album cover is I believe this is hard to see what the album cover looks like through being split. This is a problem as the audience needs to see what the product looks like if they are going to buy it. What I like most about this advert however is the titles look the clearest compared to the other posters through being black and white. Not much text is on the poster making the audience direct their attention to the titles.

In conclusion, I believe this poster is the best for showing the titles of the song, however it is difficult to identify what the album cover looks like.
