The inside of my digipak also needs to be designed; this will consist of a two sides which will feature the reverse of the front cover and the part where the CD would go. I have started my research and have already found some conventional elements in the inside cover.

Looking at Niel Irson and Mother 3+ inside covers, I can see that both covers are very similar to each other unlike the front and back of an album cover. Mother 3+ album has a colourful field covering the whole of the inside with the design also matching on the album cover. This gives me the idea of having an inside cover which is one large picture or design which covers the whole inside. The CD itself could also have this pattern to make the whole thing link together. Neil Irson is also very similar to Mother 3+ with this star or spotty pattern continuing from the CD to the other side. This design is not as colourful and detail to Mother 3+ however it gives the same impression of the inside being all connected and link.
However the Niel Irson CD disc does not carry the same design to the rest of the inside the album but instead simply says the titles of the artist and album. Although the colou
r matches the album, the star or spotty effect is not copied on the disc. By doing this the CD stands out to the rest of the album which is important as the listeners is going to want to hear the music most when buying an album.
In conclusion, I’m planning my inside album cover to be one continuous design which links with the album, however I want the album cover to stand out and not the same as the rest of the inside cover by doing this I can make this disc stand out.
